The practice – which was established more than 40 years ago - was taken over by Julie Coates in 2005 and has undergone many changes in recent times to keep up with modern standards. A wide variety of private treatments are also available. Please feel free to discuss your individual needs with one of our experienced dental surgeons.
Teeth Whitening
Get the smile you have always wanted with a little help from Hebburn Dental Clinic. We now offer both in-surgery and home whitening procedures, both of which provide excellent results. We charge £250 for in-surgery whitening and £200 for the home kits. Please contact reception if you would like to arrange an appointment with one of our dentists to discuss teeth whitening.
Family Friendly Practice
We pride ourselves on providing NHS dentistry for the whole family. We enjoy seeing children and encouraging them to look after their teeth from an early age. Our two waiting areas have plenty of toys to keep children occupied and our friendly team help to provide a relaxed environment for children. We can provide mouthguards for children who take part in contact sports. If brace work is required, we can refer children to a local orthodontist.

Other Services
There are ground floor surgeries with access for patients using wheelchairs and we provide local home visits for those patients who find it difficult to get to the practice. Although most patients feel very relaxed and able to have their dental treatment carried out at Hebburn Dental Clinic, we are still able to refer patients for sedation or general anaesthetic if required. We see patients from much further afield than South Tyneside, so if you cannot access a NHS dentist in your area please feel free to register with us.
